素食(Sosyoku)

A Plant-Based Culinary Experience, Perfectly Paired with Chinese Tea

「Sosyoku(素食)」 is also known as 「Japanese Shojin Cuisine(精進料理)」,「Vegetarian dishes」, or 「Vegan cuisine」. Sosyoku is a style of plant-based cuisine that celebrates the natural flavors and beauty of vegetables, beans, and other plant-based ingredients, without meat or fish. At "Kotone Sabo", we bring a creative, contemporary touch to this culinary tradition, crafting beautifully presented dishes that delight the senses and offer something truly unexpected. Even if you love meat, we invite you to discover the rich flavors and satisfying textures of our original plant-based creations. Each dish is designed to surprise and delight, proving that plant-based cuisine can be every bit as fulfilling as it is wholesome. Savor each unique creation alongside our fragrant Chinese teas, thoughtfully paired to complement and enhance the flavors of the food. Experience a moment of culinary harmony, found only at "Kotone Sabo".

Pesticide-Free Chinese Tea

The Chinese teas at “Kotone Sabo” are made from the first flush leaves of ancient large-leaf tea trees in Yunnan, China, and are produced using traditional manufacturing processes. These Pesticide-Free teas feature a unique aroma and sweetness and have been well-received by our customers. We also offer black tea made from Pesticide-Free tea leaves grown in Wazuka, Kyoto -a region famous for its Uji tea- which has also been very popular. Please be sure to give them a try.
